Foundational Ministries
Liverpool Christian Church is served by Senior Minister, Justin
Campbell
, Worship Minister, Matthew Crawford and Youth
Minister, Dan Hamon
.  In addition, Lowell Shaver and Stan
Rusaw, serve as elders.  We also have Deacons who serve in
various ministry areas within the church.
What kind of Church is this?
Liverpool Christian Church is a Bible-believing, evangelical
church.  “Our purpose is… to glorify God by reaching into the
community, nation, and the world; spreading the Gospel of Jesus
Christ through actions, proclamations, and missions, so as to make
disciples.”

We are a non-denominational fellowship of believers associated
with Independent Christian Churches and Churches of Christ.
This fellowship is sometimes referred to as the “Restoration
Movement.”  Our goal is to practice simple, New Testament
Christianity in a relevant, twenty-first century setting. We are
committed to maintaining unity in the essentials of Christian faith,
to allowing freedom in matters of opinion, and demonstrating love
in all things.
About Us
Liverpool Christian
Church
How long have you been here?
Liverpool Christian Church has been in existence since October
1955.  It was founded by Christians who believed that a
non-denominational church was needed in the Liverpool
community.  Initially, our church met in a home.  Later, a building
was erected at our current location.  In 1998, we purchased an
adjoining property for expansion.
What does this church believe?
Liverpool Christian Church believes that, “in the beginning, God
created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1).  We believe that
Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16). This
same Christ was crucified on a cross to take away our sins, died,
was buried, and physically rose from the dead three days later (I
Corinthians 15:3-8).  We believe that He showed Himself to His
disciples with many convincing proofs for a period of forty days
after His resurrection; after which, He ascended into heaven (Acts
1:9).  We believe that one day He will come back to take His
followers to be with Him (I Thessalonians 4:13-18).  We believe
that followers of Jesus Christ are given the Holy Spirit as a gift to
help them live as Christ desires (Acts 2:38).  We believe that, until
He returns, our primary task is to tell as many people as possible
about the Good News of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20).
How did this church decide what to believe?
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and we take
it to be our authority in our faith and practice (II Timothy 3:16 –
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking,
correcting and training in righteousness.”).  “Where the Scriptures
speak, we speak, and where the Scriptures are silent, we are
silent.”
